Lorraine M. Zimdars (nee Bruendl), 91, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2016, surrounded by her family at the Samaritan in West Bend. She was born on June 24, 1924 in the Town of Trenton to John and Mary (nee Hansen) Bruendl. Lorraine attended Holy Trinity School in Newburg and she married Earl A. Zimdars on June 24, 1944 at Holy Trinity Church and they had 10 children. She worked for Amity, Lake Central Leather Grafton for 15 years and retired in 1988 from Cera-mite Corp in Grafton.
Lorraine is survived by her 8 children David (Judith) of Filmore, Donald (Terrilee) of Theresa, Dale (Alene) of Neshkoro, Sharon Port and Diane (Lee) Heimerl of Waubeka, Donna Miller, Darryl (Susan) and Sheryl (Steven) Lindley of West Bend; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Angeline; brothers-in-law Robert (Beverly) Zimdars, Reed (Renate) Zimdars and Elaine Zimdars. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lorraine is preceeded in death by her husband Earl, sons Daniel and Steven, parents, granddaughters Tina Carroll and Daana Abel, grandson Peter Lindley, great-grandson Darrian Turner, brothers George, Alvin and Viol, and her sister Florence Wollner.
Private services will be held for Lorraine.
