Lillian “Mimi” G. Eastman (nee Bacon), 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. She was born on June 7, 1926 in Jayfield Township, MI to the late Louis and Lucy Bacon (nee Meacham). She married Douglas Earl Eastman on May 12, 1946 in Benzonia, MI. Lillian was raised in Beulah/Benzonia, Michigan and graduated from Benzonia High School Class of 1944. She was a loving homemaker and nanny to David and Jeanette Rack.
She is the dear mother of Tom (Lorrel), Terry, Tim (Ruth) and Tedd (Dawn); grandmother to Tammy, Travis, Joshua, Jessica, Jenine, Joel, Rachel, Jacob and Hannah; great-grandmother to Paul, Megan, Morgan, Brenton, Emily, Calista and Zachary; sister Lucille; nephew Mike (Carolyn) and niece Beverly. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Douglas Eastman on July 22, 1986 and brothers Alva and Elwin Bacon.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at West Bend Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses (6823 Wildwood Rd, West Bend, WI 53090). The visitation will begin at 2:00 PM with talk at 3:00 PM officiated by Randy Novak.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mary Mueller, Optum Nurse Practitioner, our family’s personal “Angel of Mercy”, and the entire Rehab Nursing Staff at Cedar Lake Community in West Bend. They would also like to thank the many loyal friends in the Honor, MI Congregation for their unparalleled love and support over the years.
