Obit: Kayla A. Bauske, 23, grew up in Slinger/ West Bend

Oct. 28, 2016 – Slinger, WI – Kayla A. Bauske, 23, of Milwaukee, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016.

She was born on May 27, 1993 to her parents in Milwaukee. She grew up in Slinger and West Bend, a vibrant and mischievous character. Kayla grew to have many ambitions and profound passion, pursuing multiple hobbies. She loved music, drawing, fashion designing, journaling and poetry. Kayla enjoyed making new friends and was very social. She loved animals, rescuing kittens, and is survived by her dog, Kato. She will forever be missed by everyone her heart touched.

Those Kayla leave behind to cherish her memory include her mother, Janet (Dan Torkelson) Bauske; her father, Steve Arvelo; two uncles, Matt Bauske and Bill Bauske; aunt, Lisa (Brian) Arenas; grandmother, Theresa Schwager

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Brad Bauske; great uncle, Fred Harris, cousin, Archie Harris; and family friends, Kevin Jansen and Thomas “T-Bone” Neidhardt.

A memorial service in remembrance of Kayla will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Myrhum-Patten funeral home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
