Kay M. Bauer (nee Neuburg), age 46 of Richfield, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Froedert Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI.
She was born on April 13, 1970 in Menomonee Falls, WI to Ardell and Carol (nee Hartmann) Neuburg. Kay was united in marriage to Eric Bauer on March 4, 2000 at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, WI.
Kay loved the Lord, her dogs, horseback riding, writing, going to Brewers games, biking, kayaking, cooking, knitting, traveling, and enjoying life.
She is survived by her loving husband Eric, mother Carol, siblings Karen (Dave) Deiringer, Kris (Mike) Gutierrez, and Ken Neuburg. Vikram Cariapa and his daughters Kavery and Kavita and their beloved departed wife/mother Asha. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loved relatives and friends.
Kay is preceded in death by her father Ardell, Kathy Neuburg, Gary Neuburg, Barb and Ken Semmann, Anita and Tom Malone.
Memorial funeral services for Kay will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Northbrook Church (4014 WI-167, Richfield, WI 53076) with Pastor Lee Heyward officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Monday at the Church home from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Washington County Humane Society, Brooklink, or the Townsend Foundation are appreciated.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kenneth Presberg, Dr. Julie Biller, the nursing staff at 3SW – especially Tammy, Sunny, Jesse, Daryl, and Cynthia, and all of the medical professionals that made 18 years of transplant possible.
