James L. Anderson, of Grafton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 15, 2016, at his residence, at the age of 73 years.
Jim was born on September 1, 1942, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, the son of the late Christ Anderson and the late Florence (nee Heiser) Anderson. Jim attended the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse, where he earned his bachelor’s degree and then went on to Marquette Univeristy as well as the University of Wisconsin LaCrosse to earn his master’s degree.
Jim was a college instructor at M.A.T.C. for over 40 years, working at both the Milwaukee Campus and the North Campus, in Mequon. He was a faithful and dedicated instructor to his many students that he taught over his storied career.
Jim was a true outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, and traveling. He enjoyed a good joke as well as playing many pranks on his family and friends. Jim’s true love however was spending time with his beloved wife, children, and his two grandsons, whom he was so proud of.
Jim is survived by his wife, Debbie Daubert Anderson, children, James G. Anderson and Lisa (Jeff) Nickel, and grandsons, Grayson and Benson Anderson. He is further survived by two sisters, two brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2016, 3 PM at the Mueller Funeral Home, in Grafton. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 12 Noon until the time of service.
