Obit: Gerald A. “Jerry” Taft Jr. , 48, Adell

Gerald A. “Jerry” Taft Jr., 48, of Adell, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.

Jerry was born on December 15, 1967, in Tampa, Florida, the son of Gerald and Nancy (Merryfield) Taft. On January 3, 2016 he was engaged to Dee Mitchell.

Jerry was a Mason in Atlanta, Georgia and enjoyed participation in all the activities associated with being a Mason. Jerry loved his close brotherhood with his biker friends.

Jerry was a hard one to describe, he danced to the beat of his own drum and enjoyed life in his own style. He was much loved by his family and friends and was quick to return that love and friendship to others. Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Those Jerry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his fiancé, Dee; his parents, Gerald and Nancy Taft of Quinton, Virginia; a sister, April (fiancé, Dale Burke) Taft of Beechwood; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.

Funeral services for Jerry will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2016, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.

The Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Jerry’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
