Obit: Elizabeth “Liz” Perry, 56

Feb. 9, 2018 – Elizabeth “Liz” P. Perry, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 5, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend. She was born on April 28, 1961 to Douglas and Joan (nee Rongitsch) Perry.

Liz had many passions in life, bringing love and joy wherever she went. A special education teacher for over two decades at Germantown County Line Elementary School, she helped build a future for many students and impacted countless lives. She loved tending to her garden, cooking, and spending time with family above all else. With a quick laugh and even quicker smile, her uplifting presence will not be forgotten amongst family, friends, and all whom she touched in life.

Liz is survived by her son, Joseph; fiancé, Allen Zwieg; brother, Joe (Laurie); her sister Katie Perry; and Joe’s father, Steve Claus. She is further survived by a loving aunt, her cousin, 5 nieces, 2 nephews, other relatives and friends.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Paul and sister Jennifer Perry.

 

 

 

 

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at Terrace 167, 3210 Hwy. 167, Richfield, WI 53076, on Sunday, February 18 from 1-4 p.m., with a remembrance tribute at 2:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to her son’s education fund.

A special thank you to the ER staff at St. Joseph’s in West Bend.
