Mrs. Eileen C. Gasper, age 91, of Cedar Grove, went home to be with the Lord early Saturday morning, August 13, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
Eileen was born January 3, 1925 in the town of Holland, daughter of Otto and Margaret (nee Jacoby) Krier. She graduated from Random Lake High School in 1943. On April 15, 1944, she was united in marriage with Lester Gasper at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Dacada.
Eileen was a lifetime member of Our Lady of the Lakes, and had been active with the Christian Women. She served as an Ozaukee County 4H Leader for over 30 years. Eileen and Lester traveled extensively, both here and abroad. Eileen enjoyed gardening, quilting and spending time with her family.
Eileen is survived by her husband of 72 years, Lester and their children: Ruth (Dan) Schueller of Cedar Grove, Anthony (Betty) Gasper of Marietta, GA, Pauline (Clem) Lesch of Valley View, TX, Gail (Glenn) Stout of Bradenton, FL, Mark (Debbie) Gasper of Port Washington, Paul (Patti) Gasper of North Prairie, Gerard (Lori) Gasper of Fort Atkinson, Karen (Ray) Will of Cedar Grove and Kay (Bill) Wulff of Port Washington. She is further survived by 28 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 25 great-great-grandchildren, brother Donald (Alice) Krier of Oostburg, sisters Lucille Gasper of Cedar Grove, Adeline Schmitz of Port Washington, Dorothy Ardisana of Cedar Grove, Audrey Mueller of Random Lake, Elaine Nulph of Port Washington and Sylvia (Dick) Ansay of FL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandson Terry Will, great-grandson Alexei Bauereis and sister, Angela Schmitz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5PM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada (W4274 Hwy K, Random Lake). The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 3-5PM.
Eileen will be laid to rest at St. Nicholas Cemetery in Dacada.
