Obit: Eileen Ann Clauer, 56, West Bend

 

ThumbnailEileen Ann Clauer (Nee Moore) age 56, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 9, 2016.  She was born to Gary and Eleanore (Nee Jaskie) Moore on November 17, 1959 in Janesville, WI.  Eileen was raised in Delevan, WI and graduated Delavan Darien High School in 1978.  She married David Clauer on July 31, 1982.

After college Eileen worked various jobs until she retired to be at home with her kids and family.  She was an amazing person who was kind to all and always willing to help anyone, anyway she could.  Eileen loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, being outside gardening or just being at home.

Eileen was a member of St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in West Bend for many years and was also a Girl Scout leader for over 12 years.  She enjoyed bringing happiness and mentoring younger girls.

Eileen is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Clauer, her three children, Erin (Mike) Kuester of Jackson, Kari (Jeff) Yaeger of West Bend and Aimee (Brian) Block of West Bend, her mother Eleanore Moore of Delavan; grandchildren, Alexis, Michael Jr and Paige; step-grandchildren, Alexis and Lucas; siblings, Ron (Cathy) Moore of Wausau, Jean (Jerry) Mortier of Rhinelander and Donald Moore of Delavan; mother-in-law, Charlotte Clauer of Elkhorn, Siblings-in-law, Don (Kelly) Clauer of Janesville and Judy (Steve) Meller of Elkhorn.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, close friends and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Moore; father-in-law, Toby Clauer and brother-in-law, John Clauer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (406 Jefferson St. West Bend, WI)  with Father Nathan Reesman presiding. Visitation will be held the same day at the church, from 9:00AM until the time of service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Fresenius Dialysis Clinic of West Bend and to the staff of Froedtert Health for all the wonderful care over the years to the family.
