Dec. 19, 2016 – Fond du Lac, WI – Daniel “Dan” J. Pahl, 56, of Fond du Lac, found peace on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Froedtert Hospital with family at his side.
He was born on July 9, 1960 to William and Elizabeth (nee Weber) Pahl in Fond du Lac. Dan’s hard work ethic was put to use in construction and concrete work. From an early age, he felt most at home being outdoors. He liked to hunt and especially liked to ice fish with his friends. His green-thumb could be found in the roses and flowers he tended to. Dan also enjoyed riding his motorcycles. He had a great sense of humor in life and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Those Dan leaves behind to cherish his memories include his father, William (Mary) Pahl of Marshfield; a son, Travis Pahl of Colorado Springs, CO; two sisters, Deb Pahl of Oshkosh and Renee (Norm) Petri of Mayville; two brothers, Randal Pahl of California and Richard (Bonnie) Pahl of Theresa; other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Pahl.
A memorial service in remembrance of Dan will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2016 at 4:00 at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 350 Main St., Lomira.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A special thank you from the family to Rick & Bonnie Pahl and Mark & Debbie Weber for all their compassionate care. Also to Lakeland Care District and the staff at Agnesian Healthcare and Froedtert Medical College for all the care and support they provided for Dan.
