Corliss M. Fassbinder (nee Dekker) of West Bend died on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the Red Cedar Canyon Health Care Center in Hudson, WI at the age of 84 years. She was born May 31, 1932 in Plymouth to Rudolph and Esther (nee Conrad) Dekker.
On September 1, 1952, she was united in marriage to George E. Fassbinder at Holy Angels Catholic Church.
Corliss almost lived her entire life in West Bend where she was employed at St. Joseph’s Community Hospital as an LPN for 30 years, retiring in 1996. She enjoyed homemaking and in her spare time she enjoyed playing golf, playing cards, needle work, knitting and crocheting.
She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and a charter member of Hon-E-Kor Country Club.
Corliss is survived by 2 sons Jeffrey (Cherie) of Longmont, CO and John (Maureen) of Hudson, WI; 4 grandchildren: Katie (Ben) Scarbrough, Brian (Crystal), Molly and Jenny; 3 great-grandchildren: Ella Scarbrough and Mary Grace and Luke Fassbinder; 2 sisters-in-law: Luella Dekker of West Bend and Jane Parvin of West Bend and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Esther Dekker, her husband George Fassbinder on May 27th of this year, 1 brother Earl Dekker, 1 sister Viola (Robert) Dabringer, 3 brothers-in-law: Wayne Parvin, Kenneth Fassbinder, and Robert Fassbinder and 3 nephews Kenneth Parvin, Michael Parvin and Jim Dabringer.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
