Bernice M. Knetzger (nee Goetz) age 87 of the Town of Erin, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, WI.
She was born January 10, 1929 in the Town of Erin to Herbert and Cecelia (nee Jacob) Goetz. Bernice was united in marriage to Norbert T. Knetzger on August 19, 1950.
Bernice and her family resided in the Town of Erin where she enjoyed taking care of her family, sewing, knitting, snowmobiling, a good game of Sheepshead, and their cottage on Shawano Lake.
Bernice is survived by her daughter, Susan Byrne of Cecil, WI; siblings, Adelle Gartzke, Harry (Shirley) Goetz, Harriet (Dan) Thomson, Jean Thomson, Carrol (Terry) Torres, and Alan Goetz. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Norbert; and siblings, Myles and Dianne.
Mass of Resurrection for Bernice will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Therese Chapel, Holy Hill, (1515 Carmel Road, Hubertus, WI 53033) with the Rev. Fred Alexander, OCD officiating.
Visitation will be at the St. Therese Chapel from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Mass at 1:30p.m on Thursday.
