June 6, 2022 – West Bend, WI – Seven members of the West Bend common council voted by blind ballot and by a 5-2 decision named Aaron Zingsheim the new District 8 alderman.
Four people applied to fill the opening for District 8 alderman in West Bend.
The seat opened following the May 16, 2022 resignation of alderwoman Meghann Kennedy.
Zingsheim is a fifth-grade teacher at Silverbrook School in West Bend. He lived in Milwaukee nine years and then moved to West Bend in 2014. Interviewed for open seat in 2020.

Zingsheim has four children; all are enrolled in parochial school with a teenage son at Kettle Moraine Lutheran and three other children at Good Shepherd Lutheran in West Bend, WI.

The successful appointee will represent District 8 for the remainder of the term, expiring in April 2023.
