June 12, 2017 – Fond du Lac, WI – Fond du Lac County Emergency Management officials will have a better idea on Tuesday regarding how much damage was caused by the high winds that accompanied thunderstorms Monday night.
Emergency Management Director Bobbi Hicken says the Brandon-Fairwater was particularly hard hit, but that wasn’t the only spot.
Lamartine firefighters responded to a structure fire and lightning hit homes at 345 Marquette and 64 East McWilliams in Fond du Lac.
Power lines were reported down across the county.
Tornado sirens were sounded, but only as a precaution due to the high winds that accompanied the storm.
