The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to numerous vehicles in the ditch and minor accidents during a 45-minute time frame.
Three separate cars spun out and struck the overpass or guardrail within 3 minutes of each other with an additional 4 or 5 cars going into the ditch.
The highway shop went through several times and placed over a ton of salt on the roadway and the accidents continued.
