Sept. 18, 2017 – Dodge Co., WI – Sept. 17, 2017 at 11:11 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash on STH 60 near Jefferson Road, in the Township of Rubicon, Dodge County, Wisconsin.
Preliminary investigation shows that Robert Underwood, 46, from Horicon was operating a Toyota SUV which was traveling east on STH 60, but was in the westbound traffic lane. Beverly Vincent, 64, from Iron Ridge was operating a Chevrolet SUV which was traveling west on STH 60.
The two vehicles collided head on in the westbound traffic lane.
Beverly Vincent was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dodge County Medical Examiner. A passenger in the Chevrolet, Bryan Vincent, 65, from Iron Ridge suffered life-threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.
Underwood suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Hartford Hospital.
Assisting at the scene was: Wisconsin State Patrol, Hartford EMS and Fire Department, Flight for Life, Dodge County Emergency Response Team, Neosho Fire Department and First Responders.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dodge County Crash Investigation Team and the Dodge County Medical Examiner.
