October 3, 2023 – Washington Co., WI – Congratulations to the Washington County Trail Sharks Mountain Bike Team on its fourth race Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Nordic Mountain in Wild Rose. The Trail Sharks had 33 athletes representing the team with a total of 462 participants in the race. This is a challenging venue from technical single-track trails with rock gardens and rooty switchbacks to steep double-track hill climbs.
On top of the tough course, the weather was hot and humid with coaches making sure the athletes were hydrated and staying cool. After cooling down they still went and cheered on the rest of the team.

The team had 5 athletes on the podium bringing home medals.
Their fifth and final race of the season will be on Sunday, October 22, 2023, for the State Championship at Trek Trails in Waterloo.
