September 28, 2024 – Sheboygan Co., WI – On September 28, 2024, at approximately 1:07 p.m. the Sheboygan County Dispatch Center received a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle accident on CTH F at CTH W in the Town of Mitchell.
A witness said the motorcyclist was passing in a designated passing zone at this location, traveling at a normal speed.
After passing, the operator maneuvered back into the westbound lane as they entered a slight left curve in the roadway. The operator’s motorcycle entered the loose gravel of the shoulder of the road as they attempted to negotiate the curve.
The operator could not get back onto the road before hitting the entrance to a driveway/culvert, which threw the operator off the motorcycle. The operator of the motorcycle was wearing a helmet. The operator of the motorcycle was transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital.
