August 6, 2023 – Dodge County, WI – On August 5, 2023, at approximately 3:22 p.m., Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to a single motorcycle crash on County Highway E near Perch Road, township of Hubbard, Dodge County, WI.
Initial investigation shows a 1993 Honda Motorcycle, driven by a 76-year-old male from rural Hustisford, was driving southbound on County Highway E. The motorcycle struck a road construction barrier which was in the southbound lane of traffic. The motorcycle operator, who was not wearing a helmet, was ejected.
The motorcycle operator received serious life-threatening injuries and was airlifted from the scene by Flight for Life to Aurora Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc.
Assisting at the scene was Hustisford Fire/EMS, Mayville EMS, Watertown Paramedics, Iron Ridge Fire Department, Neosho Fire Fire Department, and DCERT.
This crash is currently under investigation by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Crash Investigation Team. The name of the motorcycle operator is being withheld pending additional family notification at this time.
