Motorcyclist, 29, seriously injured in crash on Hwy 33 and Alpine Drive on Sunday morning | By Sgt. Scott Hanson

June 2, 2024 – Town of Addison, WI – On Sunday June 2, 2024, at 9:33 a.m. the Washington County Dispatch Center received a 911 call reporting a motorcycle crash on Highway 33 at Alpine Drive in the Town of Addison. Callers reported the motorcycle operator had a serious head injury after striking another vehicle.

Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office along with members of the Allenton Fire Department Responded to the scene.

The operator, a 29-year-old Columbia County resident was transported to the Froedtert Medical Center in Wauwatosa with serious life-threatening injuries.

An initial investigation showed the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Highway 33 when it failed to properly slow for traffic yielding to a turning vehicle. In an attempt to avoid the collision, the operator of the motorcycle was ejected.

The crash remains under investigation by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with traffic control by closing Highway 33 for approximately two hours.
