More storms, some possibly severe, predicted for today

August 8, 2021 – Washington County, WI – The National Weather Service has once again put out a hazardous weather outlook that indicates the possibility of a repeat of yesterday’s storms.

Washington-Ozaukee-Iowa-Dane-Jefferson-Waukesha-Milwaukee-
Lafayette-Green-Rock-Walworth-Racine-Kenosha-

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central
Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin.

Chances for thunderstorms are expected again today with strong to
severe storms possible this afternoon and evening. Torrential
rainfall with thunderstorms expected today combined with rainfall
the past couple days has resulted in a Flash Flood Watch being
issued for much of the northern half of the area.

It will be a hot and humid day with Heat Index values in the 90s
to near 100.
