Feb. 8, 2018 – Washington Co., WI – On Wednesday evening, Feb. 7 at 10:28 p.m. a concerned family member contacted the Washington County Sheriff’s Office to report his father, an 85-year-old Town of Polk man, had left a friend’s home in the City of West Bend and did not arrive home.
The man was last seen at 8:20 p.m. when he stopped and asked for directions at a Village of Jackson gas station. The family went out searching for the man and contacted authorities.
The sheriff’s office sent out a notification to surrounding counties. At 3:03 a.m. a deputy sheriff sergeant located the vehicle entering the Village of Slinger on STH 175. The supervisor made contact with the man who was not injured and indicated he was, “just very lost.”
The sheriff’s office made contact with relatives who responded to the scene and the gentleman was turned over to family.
