Oct. 11, 2017 – West Bend, WI – Author June Kurzon from Menomonee Falls will be the guest speaker Friday night, Oct. 13, at the Washington County Divorced/Separated, Widowed/Widower’s meeting at the Kettle Moraine YMCA on Washington Street in West Bend at 7:30 p.m.

You do not have to be a member, or join the group to attend.

Kurzon has written the book, How I Came to Be Me.  A senior citizen from Menomonee Falls, Kurzon’s book is an autobiography of a woman who finally at age 70 gained her independence and sense of self-worth.

Each decade highlights the significant events and people in her life, which include an envious, controlling mother, to an aloof but caring husband, to how she learns to live life for herself.

This is truly a coming-of-age story that has taken a lifetime to achieve.

Kurzon will share the importance of putting your life down on paper.
