Obituary | Mary “Molly” Hesprich (nee Nick), 61, of Hartford

December 8, 2020 – Hartford, Wi – Mary “Molly” Hesprich (nee Nick), 61, died peacefully at The Waterford of Hartford on Friday, November 25, 2020 in Hartford, WI.

Mary was born December 29, 1958 to parents Mary (nee Seibert) and Irvin Nick in Green Bay where she was raised. She graduated from Green Bay Southwest High School in 1977.

In 1979, she married James Hesprich and they worked on his uncle’s dairy farm in Rubicon.

After they moved to Hartford, she worked at Hardees and was winner of several best biscuit competitions. She also worked at Kwik Trip as a clerk in Hartford until early retirement.

Mary was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Nana. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went and her customers at Kwik Trip loved her as well. Mary enjoyed playing cards, puzzles, and word searches. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing in many pool and bowling leagues.

She was the loving and devoted mother of Michael J. Hesprich of Menomonee Falls, Jennifer Hesprich and Heather Hesprich, both of Hartford; adored nana of, Spencer, Tanner, Preston, Zoey, and Emma; further survived by her brothers, John (Patricia) Nick of Fort Collins CO, Charles (Nancy) Nick of Onalaska, WI, Peter (Susie) Nick of Goodyear, AZ, David (Kari) Nick of Devils Lake, ND, and sister, Judy (Doug) Ayer of Merrill, WI; also lovingly survived by her aunt, Marilyn Seibert, god-daughter, Elizabeth Ramsay, god-son, Scott Ayer, and many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Burial will be held privately at St. John’s Cemetery in Rubicon, WI. The family plans to have a Remembrance Gathering in the Spring of 2021. Her family would like to thank the caregivers at The Waterford of Hartford and Allay Hospice for their dedicated and compassionate care of Mary over the years.
