July 16, 2024 – Fond du Lac Co., WI – On Monday, July 15, 2024 at approximately 7:29 p.m., the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a single vehicle rollover crash, near W11615 County Highway TC, in the Town of Springvale, Fond du Lac County.
Initial reports advised a pickup truck had rolled over and came to rest on its roof in the ditch.
Fond du Lac County Deputies along with Brandon-Fairwater Fire Department, Brandon-Fairwater First Responders, and Lifestar Ambulance responded to the scene.
Prior to Deputies arrival, a witness observed the driver of the pickup truck running westbound along CTH TC. Shortly after this, Deputies located the driver near a residence on CTH TC.
The driver, a 32-year-old Brandon man was the lone occupant and transported by ambulance to ThedaCare Hospital with a serious arm injury.
Initial investigation indicates the vehicle was traveling west on CTH TC.
The driver began to leave the roadway, traveling into the south ditch, then back on to the roadway. The vehicle continued westbound, before rolling several times, coming to rest in the north ditch along CTH TC.
Speed, failure to maintain control and alcohol appear to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. The driver was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated – 2nd offense.
County Highway TC between County Highway M and Liner Road was shut down to one lane for approximately 1 hour. Â
