February 12, 2025 – Fond du Lac Co., -Wi – Another example of the continued effort of our patrol deputies to curb the flow and trafficking of illegal narcotics into and through Fond du Lac County. 
In late December, a Fond du Lac Co. Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a rental vehicle for a moving violation on Interstate 41.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was a 32-year-old man from Appleton, Wisconsin. The male stated he was visiting family in the Milwaukee area and was now headed home.
During the initial contact and conversation, the deputy developed reasonable suspicion of illegal drug activity and Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office K9 Ace was requested to the scene to assist. K9 Ace was deployed and indicated a positive alert for the presence of narcotics.
A search of the vehicle was conducted and deputies found approximately 158 grams of cocaine, 3 cellular phones and $622 of U.S. currency.
The male was arrested and is being held at the Fond du Lac County jail for Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and violation of his parole.
This subject has a criminal history dating back to 2008 involving violations of armed robbery, battery, fleeing and eluding as well as numerous narcotics violations. He was out on parole for the manufacture/delivery of cocaine at the time of the traffic stop.
He remains in custody at the Fond du Lac County jail on a $15,000 cash bond and his parole violation.
