Hartford, WI – Neighbors from Hartford, WI, Olympia Washington, and even Florida chimed in during the 38th annual Hartford Christmas Parade with memories about holiday shopping on Main Street in Hartford, Wi. Check out the recollections about Englehart Drugstore to Kennelly Gift Shop & Pharmacy, and even Vogelsangs Bar.

This year’s theme is ‘A Classic Christmas.’

Robert Guenther recalled working for Englehart Drugstore 20 years ago

Tiffany Lynn said there was a Roundy’s grocery store on North Main, and Englehart Drugstore where Scoop DeVille is located.

Cheryl Koch – “Enjoyed watching from Olympia Washington! 2000 miles away!”

Patti Behnke and Joan Dautermann recalled the Jock Shop where the axe throwing building/ Hatchet House is located.

The 38th annual parade featured grand marshals are Ray and Carrie Stelzer, former owners of Scoop DeVille.

Robert Guenther – Don’t forget the original Granddad’s Bakery!

Stacy Ann Miller – Tropical fish and pets use to be on the opposite corner same side of the road as Mineshaft

Jessica King – Pet shop where local collective is

Milwaukee Dancing Grannies – Most entertaining group was the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies

Patti Behnke – Next to Engeldahl’s was the Jock shop

Kim Kerr – I’m watching my hometown Hartford Christmas Parade at Ashland Wi

Lynn Bye – John’s sport shop where Hank’s is.

Betty McGlothin – There was a laundromat think where Perk Place is

Robert Guenther – Let’s not forget Wayne’s Barber shop, he’s been there for 20+ years, shout out to him

Kim McCarty – The crowds were in the streets; it was hard to get us jazzercise ladies to dance

Linda Theisen – Vogelsangs was a bar.

Robert Guenther – Design originals was in the building right behind you 2nd from the corner

Patti Behnke – Coast to Coast was downtown also

Lynn Bye – Hartford Theater, I think it was now where Homemade Wonders is. Koehn & Koehn jewelers was on the same corner

Robert Guenther – There was a deli, and next to it was a liquor store
