Slinger, Wi – A neighbors on Slinger Road and HWY 175 in Slinger is offering $100 for information leading to the identification of teenagers seen driving a white Jeep/SUV. The property owner said someone smashed mailboxes on Slinger Road and Hwy 175 around 4 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024.Â
“This mailbox was custom painted and hand pinstriped using automotive supplies by a deceased family member to celebrate my fiancĂ©s cancer treatment,” said homeowner Rob Podell.
“I will be contacting the Slinger and Mequon administration and athletic staff, as well as the local media.
“Help me find the people responsible for this.”
The damage occurred around 4-4:30pm on Friday, right before the football game between Mequon and Slinger.
“I have already contacted the Slinger Police department, the Washington County Sheriff’s office and filed a police report, and I am currently working on getting security camera footage from all the businesses on the route I described above,” he said.
“I am requesting any assistance with this; if you know of some of ‘those kids’ that seem to be getting in trouble and you know they have access to a White Chrysler Pacifica, I would like your help in working with the Sheriff’s office to identify them.”Podell is also requesting security footage of school parking lots from last Friday, when school was out.  “I am betting that there was a white Chrysler Pacifica with a few teens in it leaving together due to timing,” he said.
