Locked in the lumber yard at Menards | By Germantown Police

Germantown, WI – For the week of November 19, 2023, the Germantown Police Department had 411 calls for service. Of these calls:

On November 17 at 12:08 a.m., officers checked a residence on Meadowbrook Ln for two female subjects with arrest warrants. The first subject was taken into custody for a warrant from Fond Du Lac County Sheriff’s Office. The second subject was taken into custody for a warrant from the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office, Resisting an Officer, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On November 19 at 12:42 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on I-41 near Freistadt Road. One of the two occupants, a male adult, was taken into custody on a warrant from Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office. The other occupant, a male adult, was taken into custody for Possession of Crack Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

On November 21 at 2:39 a.m., while investigating a suspicious vehicle complaint at Fleet Farm, officers took a male adult into custody for 1st Offense Operating while Intoxicated.

On November 21 at 1:19pm, officers responded to a one vehicle crash at Highland Rd and Wasaukee Road. The adult female driver was taken into custody for 4th Offense Operating while Intoxicated.

On November 21 at 7:28 p.m., a caller on Freistadt Rd reported hearing a gunshot outside her residence after being involved in an altercation with her boyfriend at the residence. Officers responded and with additional assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, the boyfriend was located outside and taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct while Armed. A rifle was located and taken as evidence.

On November 21 at 9:42 p.m., a caller reported they were locked in the lumber yard at Menards after the business closed while she was still loading her order. With assistance from the Germantown Fire Department, entry was made to the lumber yard and the caller was assisted out.

On November 24 at 11:27 a.m., a caller on Hilltop Drive reported that her adult son gave her vehicle to another female, who her son only knew by a nickname, without permission. Officer took a stolen vehicle report, and the vehicle was later recovered in Milwaukee.

On November 25 at 2:36 p.m., a caller on Pilgrim Road reported their adult daughter was breaking items in the house and acting aggressively. The daughter was taken into custody for Domestic Violence Battery and Disorderly Conduct.
