There’s a variety of Farmers’ Markets across Washington County. Chime in if we’ve missed one..
Allenton: Tuesday 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the corner of Highway 33 and Weis Street.
West Bend VFW: Wednesday and Saturday from 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at 260 Sand Drive, which is just to the right (south) off Decorah Road by Pat’s Jiffy Stop. Norbie Carter is a pretty consistent vendor and his garden was overflowing this year with red ripe tomatoes and sweet cantaloupe.
Menomonee Falls: Wednesday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the North Junior High Campus parking lot.
Kewaskum Farmers’ Market: Thursday from 8 a.m.-noon. You don’t want to miss the newest (and cutest) exhibitors at the Kewaskum Market. Tony and Lucas Kern’s Homemade Mint is overseen by mom Angie. Tony and Lucas harvest the mint from their yard in Kewaskum, and Tony helps dry the mint for tea. Their Farmers Market offerings are mint teas, fresh mint, and mint lemonade.
In Kewaskum you’ll also see lots of fruits and veggies from farmers with more experience, like Harold Tuttle with his apples, Harold (Chesty) Pesch with his wife Darlene Pesch. Harold Strohmeyer is also a regular in Kewaskum, and he does the Downtown West Bend Farmers Market on Saturday morning as well.
Slinger: Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. at St Vincent De Paul parking lot.
Hartford: Saturday market 7 a.m.- noon at the Rec Center parking lot 147 N. Rural Street.
Lomira: Saturday 9 a.m.-noon in the Public parking lot.
