March 27, 2025 – West Bend, WI – The importance of the upcoming Wisconsin Supreme Court election can’t be overstated. This is the last chance to return the court back to conservative control until at least 2028. Voters must ensure that Brad Schimel is elected to the high court on April 1.
Schimel’s opponent, Susan Crawford, is considered “soft-on-crime,” having given weak and shortened sentences to male sex offenders. As an attorney, Crawford earned her progressive bonafides by fighting against voter ID, as well as working for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, which has sought to expand abortion through nine months.
According to Wisconsin Family Action, Planned Parenthood is also the country’s second largest transgender hormone provider. With Crawford’s close ties to Planned Parenthood, one can imagine how she would decide cases as a Supreme Court justice regarding abortion and transgender issues.
It’s also crucial for John Donaldson to be re-elected to the West Bend School Board. Donaldson has proven time and again that he will ask hard questions and is an independent thinker who doesn’t blindly follow the district administration’s lead. He was the only school board member last year who tried to protect taxpayers from an increasing tax burden, despite declining enrollment. The other six board members supported the district’s $165 million (including interest) referendum.
Donaldson has consistently supported transparency regarding curriculum, age-appropriate books, and controversial activities at West Bend schools. He will continue to voice the concerns of parents and citizens who want to know what’s being taught to students of all ages.
Early in-person voting has already begun and in West Bend runs through March 28. Please encourage friends and family members to vote for John Donaldson for West Bend School Board and prevent the progressive takeover of the State Supreme Court by voting for Brad Schimel.
