July 5, 2024 – Washington Co., WI – I’ve only met Jim Piwowarczyk twice. Both times he impressed me as energetic, sincere, and interested only in serving the district and making Wisconsin a better place to live. I’ve met Don Pridemore the same number of times and he impressed me as being all about promoting Pridemore.
I’ve read Jim Piwowarczyk’s positions on the Economy, Immigration, Election Integrity, Public Safety, the Second Amendment and protecting our children. I support each of his positions one-hundred percent.
The internet is full of Don Pridemore. It portrays a self-promotor who speaks in platitudes and will run for any office available. If they were to put a picture in the dictionary under “Career Politician” Don Pridemore would fit nicely.
In November Don will be 78 years old; Jim will be 54. I fully understand that both Presidential candidates, assuming both Biden and Trump are nominated by their respective parties, will be 78 or older. I do not consider that to be a good thing.
Many successful corporations have a mandatory retirement age for senior executives. Often
that age is 65. The reason is not to get rid of the “old guy”, but to create upward mobility. To move new younger minds, with new ideas into positions of leadership. The military does
exactly the same thing. Senior leaders retire after 30 and in rare cases 40 years of service – between 55 and 65.
I will vote for Jim Piwowarczyk and will ask everyone I know to do that as well. I will do that primarily because I agree with his positions and believe he will represent the 98th district better than Pridemore. But I will also vote for Jim because he is 54 and I believe it is time to turn leadership over to the next generation. I say that even though I, too, am 78.
