August 15, 2021 – West Bend, WI – There’s a 10-year-old West Bend boy putting in the hours during the current heat wave to raise money for a new baseball bat.
Bowen LeMay has an assortment of refreshments all at affordable family prices and has enjoyed having conversations with customers this morning.
LeMay is currently taking a two-hour break so he can attend his baseball practice.
He’ll be back at the stand from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the corner of Annie Street and Schoenhaar Drive.
LeMay said he is trying to get a nicer bat for his upcoming season for the U-11 Bulldogs when they travel for tournament games in Wisconsin.
“Everyone who buys something today gets a free piece of candy,” said LeMay.
Where could we make a monetary donation – sans lemonade?
