Oct. 28, 2018 – West Bend, WI – Leaf collection Is underway in West Bend.
My father is almost 95 and it’s good exercise for him to come help me rake leaves on Sixrh Avenue in West Bend.
Each year he’s a bit slower and needs more direction, but it’s good to be out in the fresh air and being able to help makes him feel like he’s done something productive that day.
The City of West Bend asks that leaves be swept into the street.
Leaves will be collected through Dec. 2.
