-Hartford, WI – It was a big day as Laufer Trucking, 955 Western Dr., Hartford, WI, wished a happy retirement to Wayne Fleischmann and Joe Shirkey; it was also Jayme Wenninger’s 20th Anniversary.

Wayne started with Laufer Trucking in 2014 and retired in 2020. In 2023 he saw a Facebook post that Laufer Truckiimg was looking for drivers and ended up coming out of retirement to help part-time for the last two years. Wayne would do anything, even at the last minute. He came in to save the day more times than we can count.
Joe Shirkey started in 2020 after making a career change from corporate management. Joe wanted a change of pace as he transitioned towards retirement. He attended WCTC and came on board. We are truly glad Joe joined us as he made an excellent truck driver and was always very pleasant to work with. (With some luck we may see him around to help out part-time in the future.)
Jayme joined the Laufer Trucking team 20 years ago after the Midas Muffler Plant closed in Hartford. Jayme had been a long time employee there and he’s continuing his commitment to longevity with us. Jayme is a real team player who always does what needs to done. He’s also a lot of fun to be around.
