Last day to apply for parental choice/voucher program in Wisconsin

April 20, 2018 – Today is the last day parents may apply to be part of one of the Wisconsin parental choice/voucher programs. Enacted and launched in 2013, the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program allows students whose families meet specific income qualifications the ability to attend a participating private or religious school of their choice, tuition free. 
School choice programs in the Badger State are utilized by over 30,000 students each year with more than 200 participating schools throughout the state. 
The following schools in Washington County are part of the Parental Voucher Program: (West Bend) Good Shepherd Lutheran School and St. John’s Lutheran School; (Hartford) Peace Lutheran School, St. Augustine School, St. Kilian School; (Jackson) Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School, Living Word Lutheran High School, Morning Star Lutheran School.
