December 23, 2021 – Kewaskum, WI – Kohn’s Corner Mart, 516 Main Street, in Kewaskum has sold.
The sale is significant as that corner of Main and Kewaskum Street has been in the Kohn family for three generations.
“My grandfather Lester Kohn started the station,” said grandson Brandon Kohn. “It was first Kohn Brothers Implement then a filling station which became known as Kohn’s Corner Mart.”
Below is a note posted by Brandon Kohn regarding the sale:
“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sale of our Citgo location, Kohn’s Corner Mart. For over three generations, the Kohn family has served the Kewaskum community at this location, first as Kohn Brothers Implement then as a filling station, which became known as Kohn’s Corner Mart.
Owned by Brandon Kohn and operated by Brooke Anderson, along with the dedicated help of their family and staff, the business grew over the years to what it has become today.
The decision to sell this location was exceptionally difficult given the strong family ties to our original filling station site.
We want to say a heartfelt thank you to our staff and customers who have made Kohn’s Corner Mart such a special place to us. The unwavering support we’ve received from the Kewaskum community over the years has been immeasurable.
We hope that you will continue to visit us at our BP locations, where we will continue to focus our efforts on serving and fueling up our Kewaskum and Campbellsport communities.”
