West Bend, WI – The Knights of Columbus ran its third consecutive free throw contest at Holy Angels gym on Sunday, January 26. The event raised $50 for Special Olympics of Washington County and saw some excellent shooting from youngsters between the ages of 8 and 14.
This year’s winners, who are eligible to advance to the Archdiocesan Level of the competition in Milwaukee in late spring, are:
9-Year-Old Girl-Addy Gagan, 6/15
9-Year-Old Boy-Vincent Breunig, 11/15
10-Year-Old Girl-Finley Samuel, 8/15 with a tiebreak round of 3/5
10-Year-Old Boy-Will Thull, 10/15
11-Year-Old Girl-Heidi Hunter, 4/15
11-Year-Old Boy-Geno Sobotka, 13/15
12-Year-Old Boy-Chase Schroeder, 11/15
14-Year-Old Boy-Zach Simonis, 7/15
