June 1, 2022 – Washington Co., WI – A note to keep the Mazzolari family of Washington County, WI in your thoughts and prayers as they work through a difficult situation involving the death of their father Rosolino Mazzolari, “Lino” of Hartford who died, Saturday, May 28, 2022, just five days after his son, Guido J. Mazzolari, died in a heavy equipment accident on May 23, 2022 in the Town of Jackson.
Services are being overseen by the Shimon Funeral Home.
Rosolino “Lino” Mazzolari, 89, of Hartford, Wisconsin (formerly of Rubicon) passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022.
Rosolino was born January 15, 1933 in Cremona, Italy to Judita (nee Soregaroli) and Cesare Mazzolari. He was united in marriage to Anna Firetti on June 14, 1958 in Italy and moved to the USA in 1961. Lino worked for Chrysler Outboard Motors and International Stamping Co. in Hartford, and also worked for Stanga Cheese Factory in Rubicon for many years. Lino enjoyed dancing, gardening and planting trees, and spending time with his grandkids. He also enjoyed Rubicon baseball, the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee Brewers.

Guido J. Mazzolari, 56, of Jackson, Wisconsin passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 23, 2022.
Guido was born July 19, 1965 in Beaver Dam, WI to Anna (nee Firetti) and Rosolino Mazzolari. After being together for 11 years he was united in marriage to Jaqueline M. Mueller on September 20, 2008. Jacci and Guido have been side by side since 1997.
Guido Proudly served in the United States Navy.
Guido worked for GKN for 33 years as a maintenance technician. Guido enjoyed fixing and building things, hobby farming, politics, guns, dragons, and medieval weapons, watching action and superhero movies, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed his fast cars and Harley Davidson motorcycling, traveling, and playing with his grandkids.

A Memorial Mass for Guido will be held Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at St. John Catholic Church, W1170 Rome Road, Rubicon, WI 53078 with The Very Rev. Rick Stoffel officiating. Mass starts at 6 p.m.
