Kewaskum Indians take on Germantown tonight | By Karrie May

June 2, 2017 – Kewaskum, WI – This week the Kewaskum varsity baseball team played its first conference games.

On Tuesday, Cole Surprenant threw out the first pitch in the conference season opener against Homestead, unfortunately, Kewaskum fell to Homestead 5-4.

A rally by Kewaskum in the fifth inning brought the Indians within striking distance, but they were unable to pass the Highlanders.

Thursday the Indians were on the road in Port Washington.  Senior Dalton Poole earned the win for the Indians pitching 6 2/3 innings, he allowed 1 run, 3 hits, struck out 4,  and walked 1.  Final score 4-1.

The Indians are currently 1-1 in conference and will play tonight at 5:30 p.m. against conference rivals Germantown at Kiwanis Park.
