Kewaskum, WI – Kewaskum High School sophomore Scarlett Reis has been named Best Defensive Player by Badger Region Volleyball in the 16 Elite Division.

Along with this honor she was also selected for All-League Team.
The Badger Region Volleyball Association oversees the Badger Region Power League, a premier volleyball competition in Wisconsin. Established in 2019, the Badger Region Power League hosts a yearly tournament that takes place over the span of several weekends and across various sites in Wisconsin.
The league features multiple divisions including 14s,16s and 18s each offering Elite, Select, and Regional levels. The Badger Region Volleyball Association announced its annual Power League watchlist nominated by coaches for outstanding performances.
All League award winners highlight top performers in various categories- Best Defensive player, Best Attacker, Best Setter and Best Server.
Reis currently is libero for her Eclipse -16 Elite team and plays for Kewaskum’s varsity team. She strives to excel at being a team leader, perfecting her passes, having quick reflexes and agility throughout the game.
Her mental toughness and resilience gained playing volleyball will continue to drive her towards greatness in her future. Off the court, Reis is a mentor for the youth, involved in community service and active in multiple clubs, all while holding a 3.9 GPA.
