Kewaskum High School hires new football coach | By Jeridiah Halopka

November 18, 2024 – Kewaskum, Wi – Kewaskum High School has hired Jeff Rondorf as the new head football coach for the Kewaskum Indians. Rondorf brings decades of experience, a proven track record of success, and a passion for developing well-rounded student-athletes.

Coach Rondorf previously served as an assistant football coach at Grafton High School. Before that, he was the head coach at West Bend East High School from 2012 to 2023 and at Cedar Grove-Belgium School District from 2000 to 2006.

His coaching experience also includes time as an offensive coordinator, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the game. Throughout his career, he has consistently emphasized team development, discipline, and a commitment to sportsmanship.

Coach Rondorf’s coaching philosophy focuses on creating a positive and enthusiastic environment both on and off the field. He believes every student is unique and deserves tailored opportunities for growth, both athletically and personally.

By setting high expectations and providing positive reinforcement, Coach Rondorf aims to instill responsibility, accountability, and a love for football in his players.

“I am honored to join the Kewaskum community and excited to lead the Kewaskum football program,” said Rondorf. “My goal is to create an environment where players can excel on the field, in the classroom, and as active community members. Together, we will build a program that emphasizes hard work, discipline, and pride in representing Kewaskum High School.”

Athletic Director Halopka expressed confidence in Coach Rondorf’s leadership: “Jeff’s extensive experience and dedication to developing student-athletes make him an ideal fit for our football program. We are thrilled to welcome him to Kewaskum and look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students and the community.”

Having grown up in the West Bend area, Rondorf is excited to return to a community close to his roots. He looks forward to continuing to build on Kewaskum’s football tradition and collaborating with the athletes, parents, and fans who make the program special.
