Kewaskum Chief Tom Bishop completes FBI National Academy Training

March 20, 2025 – Kewaskum, WI – Kewaskum Police Chief Thomas Bishop recently graduated from the FBI National Academy, joining law enforcement professionals from across the country and around the world in completing this advanced training program.

The 293rd session of the National Academy included 243 law enforcement executives representing 48 states, the District of Columbia, 24 international agencies, 11 military organizations, and four federal civilian agencies.

Held at the FBI Training Academy in Quantico, Virginia, the 10-week program focuses on leadership, communication, and fitness training to support the professional development of law enforcement leaders.

Since its inception in 1935 under FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, the National Academy has graduated more than 55,900 law enforcement professionals.

Participation is by invitation only, and less than 1% of officers worldwide are selected, highlighting the prestige of this accomplishment.

Chief Bishop is grateful for the experience and looks forward to applying what he has learned to better serve the community.
