Feb. 27, 2018 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran flew past Cristo Rey Jesuit in its Division 3 WIAA state tournament opener, topping the Trailblazers 102-7.
Fourteen players contributed points for KML, including Zach Zuleger’s game-high 16. The senior also collected 8 rebounds and five steals, capping three fast break opportunities with a slam dunk.
As the first half drew to a close, Andrew May received the ball in the post, took it to the baseline, and threw down a one-handed jam through traffic.
May finished the night with 6 points and 5 rebounds.
The win puts KML through to the regional semifinals, where it will face the winner of Obama SCTE and Tenor/Veritas at home on Friday night.
