Kettle Moraine Lutheran hosts Veterans service on November 3

veterans-day
Kettle Moraine Lutheran will host its annual Veteran’s Day service on November 3, honoring service men and women from all branches of the military.
This year’s theme is Prisoners of War/Missing in Action.
The service will welcome hundreds of veterans into the KML auditorium and feature performances from the school’s band and choirs. In addition to paying tribute to those who have served, the event has an impact on all in attendance, especially the KML students.
“The service helps our students understand the phrase ‘freedom is not free’ as we hear stories of the number of servicemen and women who gave their lives in the Second World War, the Korean Conflict, the Vietnam War and the other wars in which the Unites States has participated,” said KML history teacher Jerry Zeamer.  “The service brings to life what students read about in their history books or watch in movies about the various wars.”
The service is open to the public, but you are asked to RSVP by calling the school at 262-677-4051 x 1101.
For more information about the service, visit the KML website.
