Nov. 25, 2016 – Jackson, WI – Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School purchased a brand new marimba for its band and percussion ensemble.
Band director Dan Hubert said the new instrument is “top of the line. You can’t get one any better than this.”
KML junior Jacob Anderson participates in both the school band and percussion ensemble, and is very excited about the purchase.
“The new marimba is much bigger and has more keys than the ones we had before. The sound is richer and deeper, making it better to listen to.”
The new marimba will make its first public appearance in Kettle Moraine’s band concert on Saturday, Dec. 3, at 7 p.m.
