“I am extremely happy to be working for the City of Mayville,” said Justmann.

Justman has extensive municipal government experience particularly with elections. “I am experienced in WisVote, have a thorough understanding of absentee voting, maintaining a Municipal Code, knowledgeable in zoning and special assessment, and familiar with completing reports for the Department of Revenue and Department of Administration,” she said.

“As City Administrator I welcome the opportunity to pursue grant opportunities, economic development, negotiating development agreements and administering elections for the betterment of the City of Mayville.”

The announcement of a Boelk win and hiring of a new City Administrator is being well received by the community.

Justmann said her first plan of action is to get confidence built back for residents and stakeholders. “Then I want to make sure the Common Council is setting policy and procedures; I’ll be managing staff and keeping the communication line open.”

“My experience and knowledge and 23 years in local government will be an asset to helping get the city back on track,” she said.

Justmann is set to start May 13, 2024.
