Juneau, WI – The Juneau Fire & Rescue Department, Juneau, WI, (Dodge Counties Seat), in Dodge County, has announced it will host a 9/11 Silent Parade on Wednesday evening, September 11, 2024 at 8 p.m. in the City of Juneau, WI, in honor of the 23rd Anniversary 9/11/2001 for the 2,977 lives lost, including the (411) Emergency workers including:
(343) Firefighters – (Including a chaplain & 2 Paramedics) FDNY
(37) Police Officers of the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Police Departments (PAPD)
(23) Police Officers of the New York City Police Department (NYPD)
(8) EMT’S & Paramedics from Paramedics from private emergency medical services

The Silent Parade will line-up and begin on South Western Avenue in the City of Juneau, along Dodgeland School. Â
The parade will head north and turn right onto West Oak Grove Street (HWY 26), and proceeds east past Village Garden restaurant up to South Main Street and then turn right at the four–way stop onto South Main Street passing Kwik Trip and head South passing the old Dodgeland School, St. John’s Church & School and the City of Juneau Cemetery, then turn left onto Cross Street to the Juneau Public Safety Building to the Juneau Fire Station. Â
City street lights along Silent Parade Route will be turned off at 8 p.m.
Their will be a gathering after the Silent Parade at the Juneau Fire Department at the Public Safety Building, (The Public is Invited), for free food & refreshments. Â Thank you and hope you can attend.
Citizens are encouraged to line the parade route with lighted candles and hold American Flags in honor of all those who lost their lives on 9/11/01 (2,977), including 411 Emergency workers. Â

*We are looking for as many vehicle units for the 23rdAnniversary Silent Parade, to be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 8 p.m. Â
Each marcher will carry a 12” x 18” Flag in honor of all the emergency workers killed on 9/11/01.
Free hot beef and BBQ pulled pork Sandwiches, Cheese, Chips, Dessert & Refreshments will be served at the Juneau Fire Department following the parade.
