December 15, 2020 – West Bend, WI – On Saturday, December 12 the 4th grade West Bend West JR Spartans boys basketball team won the Kettle Moraine Boys Basketball Club (KMBBC) 2020 JV Classic Tournament at Kettle Moraine High School in Wales, WI.
West Bend West defeated Brookfield East and Kettle Moraine Gold, as well as winning the championship game 29-27 over Oconomowoc.
The championship game was highlighted by a 3-pointer made by Isaac Loether to get West Bend West the lead with under a minute to go.
Over the three-game tournament the JR Spartans were led in scoring by Austin Ladd, 33 points, and Liam Biertzer, 29 points. The JR Spartans became champions due to great teamwork and tough defense.
