Washington Co., WI – This Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2 is a great opportunity to see future Olympic champion Jordan Stolz, skate in person at the Pettit National Ice Center in Milwaukee. The U.S. Championships Long Track kickoff the speed skating season. The event is free and keep an eye out as tickets for the ISU World Cup go on sale this Friday – that event at the Pettit will be as close to see all the Olympic skaters from around the world for a very nominal price. This is a great opportunity to see Stolz, 20, as he prepares for the 2024-25 U.S. Speedskating season.
As for this weekend, based on the latest schedule, racing will be Friday 8:30 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. – 2:25 p.m. and Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 1:22 p.m. Please keep in mind these are estimates and subject to change as entries are still being taken by US Speedskating

Below is a preliminary schedule of races. In the past Stolz has competed in the 500m, 1000m, 1500m, and 10,000m.
There will be some other Olympic medal winners on the ice including Brittany Bowe (bronze 2022), and Erin Jackson (gold 2022).

Preliminary Schedule:
Friday: 500m #1 W/M, 1000m #1 W/M, 3000m W, 5000m M, 3000m Masters AmCup
Saturday: 500m #2 W/M, 1500m W/M, 5000m W, 10,000m M
Sunday: 1000m #2 W/M, 2×10 laps AmCup W/M (no points), 2×16 laps W/M WCQ
Approximate end on Sunday around 2 p.m.
On a side note: ISU World Cup tickets sales start Friday, November 1, 2024 at 9 a.m. For the first week the General Admission ticket cost will be $25 per day (plus WI Sales tax and service fees).
Over 200 of the World’s best speedskaters from every competing nation are expected to attend.
